Super strange question, but did your squishy bun used to have darker fur on her(his?) back?
The colouring reminds me soooo much of my bun, especially the white spots kinda mixed in across the back!! She was all back and white when I got her, and about 3 years ago her back started turning brown and then SUPER light brown. Then about 6 months ago her cheeks and the very base of her ears started turning reddish brown, so only her ears, face, and tail still had black!
I’ve always been curious if other people have seen this on their buns, and her colouring and pattern just looks so so similar, and I can see some places where it looks like it’s fading from light brown to black across her back!
