My wife and I have conversations about a fictional squirrel named Pancake. Well… the squirrel is real… and always dead. So the conversation goes:
“I saw Pancake on my way home today… he was just sleeping in the middle of the road. He must have been really tired because he didn’t wake up even while cars were driving right over him… But, that’s so Pancake! He’s one lazy bastard.”
