I don’t know why, but my bunny loves having her face squished, too.

They don’t feel things the same way as us. They’re enervated differently.

For example, they’re much less pain sensitive. A human can do a lot more about pain in their life than a rabbit can, so evolution has given humans far more pain receptors.

Regarding squish, domesticated rabbits are a species that digs massive burrows. They’re used to living in close quarters, in tiny little chambers. They’re used to cuddling a lot closer than humans are.

Having another rabbit on top of you is extra security, because if a Woozle comes in the burrow, they’re going to bite the top rabbit.

Very cute. My bun loved pets but would never sit on my lap. She demanded I sit on the floor with her!

Smashing one’s face into objects and finding it comfy is just a happy accident.

My bonded bunnies like to squish faces! It may be a cuddling thing.

“You just don’t get my art, mom!”
Bob Ross would be very fond of his namesake 🎨🖌️
