She looked me in the eye as she tossed her bowl and then flopped down. I think she is saying she dislikes her new pellets.

I hate when people say rabbits are not personable and I just show them a bun this sassy.

Apologize Immediately and she may allow you to live. Bananas are an option!

100$ drama. Get the good pellets again or else.

Glad Iā€™m not alone in this. My bunnies do this daily and give me the nastiest side eye after theyā€™ve flopped down. Not because Iā€™ve given them different pellets, but because Iā€™ve existed in their presence for too long after giving them their food.

  8. My sister had a girl like her growing up. She was such a diva. If something happened to stir her bunny anger, she kicked the door of her cage (from in or outside didn’t matter and then went and sat in a corner turning her butt towards us. Then turning her head every once in a while to give us a disparaging look. She was the cutest.

If you can, it is always best to blend pellets when switching brands. It probably helps with the flavor change, and definitely will help to prohibit any digestive upset.

Mix 1/4 new and 3/4 old for 5 days

Then mix 1/2 new and 1/2 old (again like 5 days)

The mix 3/4 new and 1/4 old (5 days)

    Then go all new.

    Itā€™s helpful for them!!!

I will keep that in mind. Getting hard to keep her regular food brand the same as the supply of rabbit food here keeps changing and is not very plentiful at the moment. Makes me think I should stock up when they get the stuff she likes in stockā€¦

Itā€™s better for rabbits to eat veggies then pellets. Speaking from experience here. My bunny is much healthier and happier since switching her diet. Does not throw her food bowl anymorešŸ˜‚

My rabbit prefers human flesh from my basement tbh

I would like to think that the bunny maintained eye contact as she flipped the bowl and then flopped down slowly.

So dramatic! I stopped putting my rabbitā€™s food in bowls. I scatter his food on the floor and make him forage instead

I think rabbits donā€™t like bowls because itā€™s not how they naturally eat. Maybe sheā€™s telling you she doesnā€™t like the bowl?

  15. Iā€™d kick that brown dust of an excuse for pellets too is what my rabbit would be saying.
