RABBITS ARE ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL CREATURES.
They are highly intelligent, they communicate a heck of allot if your paying attention. They love deep like DEEP…. THEY are incredible therapy animals too. Way more fun than dogs or cats..LESS STINKY, and more loyal than a cat or dog. They're non-stop happiness in the home. nuff sed.
Chester is a darling gentleman. I absolutely adore him. I have ten rabbits as pets. Most all were rescued from horrible conditions..Broken legs, hips, jaws etc. Sadly have to rotate them for free roaming and daddy time. And I also have 20 rescues from breeders I out out of business and had arrested for animal cruelty, inhumane conditions etc.. So of anyone wants to adopt a precious little or big fluffbutt. I'll be posting on YouTube very soon.
Iโm all for free roamingโฆ but with spinal injury?! Doesnโt make sense to let him run and jump around the house with an injured spine. They easily can break their backs anyway.. ๐ฃ

I am not fan of cages for pets …if you have to cage it then you don't need it. Maybe place it in a room to roam around until you get home but caged animals end up suffering from severe anxiety and the other problem you take away their ability to protect themselves when you cage them….

Thinking about getting a rabbit. Letting them roam around the house would be great, but I'm concerned about them damaging baseboards/wooden legs etc. Anyone have any experience?

Awww same here we have a house rabbit. We took the doors off his cage and uts his bed and we give him a litter tray with puppy pads. He is incredibly happy ๐ ๐

100% A rabbit is a prey animal and knows it is on the dinner menu. If you keep a rabbit in a cage it will stay in defensive mode and stay stressed out. When you let them free roam eventually the will understand this is home and my family and their personalities will shine.
