  1. My ex bf had been given a sweet bun who's legs were splayed due to hip problems as a baby so vet recommended us to b00ty bath every night to keep her… area free of p00ps and build up. It really helped! We put her in a little tub of warm water about 1 inch of water, I would not recommended any more than that if your bun needs to be scrubbed or soaked. They are very high maintenance pets I wish more people would realize! I'll gladly care for my girls though- it's important to do your research before bringing one home. 🤗

  2. Sooo I was on vacation for a week and my dad was feeding my rabbit. I left him VERY DETAILED instructions yet he still somehow wound of feeding him his LITTER Instead of his PELLETS! I was gone for four days. Any advice? Should I rush him to a vet or wait it out? Feel free to ask questions!!

  3. Could you show us some more examples of good bunny content vs bad bunny content online ?? I wish more ppl understood certain things are scary for bunny rather than entertainment

  4. Don't let them chew cardboard !!! I see people allow this everywhere because it's cheap and easy. So why not? Originally I thought it was fine as my rabbit loved to chew cardboard. Till he had to get surgery done on his stomach cause he ingested small amounts of cardboard that then mixed with water became a pulp, a pulp that got too big and blocked his digestive tract. How did I notice? He stopped eating and his nose wiggled way too fast showing he was in pain. He had to get an x-ray after the vet noticed his stomach was swollen, it showed a serious issue and then he had to even get surgery to remove it. Ever since I have never let them chew cardboard anymore. There are plenty of other chew toys/treats that are healthy and not harmful for them.

  5. I tried to train my bun to use the syringe and get used to get his nails clipped but nothing worked. His nails got really long because I couldn't cut them so I had to lay him on back and tried to do it as gently as possible so he knows he's not in danger. That's sometimes only way for me to cut his nails. We figured out to held him like a baby works too but not everytime.
    Anyways. Have a great day y'all <3

  6. My bunny eats pretty much all day. I give her breakfast and I do my schooling. Then I give her some healthy snacks throughout the day and then dinner! I’ve taught her tricks so that’s a big part of where her snacking goes😂😂😂

  7. I don’t give my bunny’s baths but all their feet are yellow I have a 3 story hutch and a very large xpen they run around in so it can’t be from being confined to a small space their littler boxes get cleaned 1 time a day and they still refuse to clean their feet they are all white so it’s very noticeable. I’m not sure what to do I have all their pre spaying checkup appointments very soon but it worry’s me if you or anyone in the comments have any idea why they don’t clean their feet please let me know.

  8. Our Hunny Bunny lived a good life thanks to all the info we learned from you Lorelei! She crossed the rainbow bridge last year & we miss her terribly. Your channel now helps us cope with our loss, & also helps us to continue to pass knowledge on to others. God bless you & Lennon!🫶🏼

  9. I love your videos. Watching them all before getting my bun in the new year. I want to give it the best life from the very start.

  10. Four years later and my bunnies still don't let me fully cuddle them 😭 I wish they would lay on me like Lennon does with you! There are some rare occasions but I don't do anything because I don't want to ruin it.

  11. My bunny is almost 2 years he is my sweet baby boy and is 1 year and 11 months and he basically the first cap time he met my sisters cat they were really shy but then they got more used to each other and are bestfriends even though they play together in our living room its cute to see them become friends and some memories and moments he will never forget since his bestfriend is soon to be leaving and I wish my bunny could still live longer and longer to live with me and my family he will always be in my heart and everyone’s still to this day when he passes away I shall keep him cute toys to be reminded.

  12. According to my bunny, I should NEVER feed him only a small chunk of fruit, he demands ten pounds per day😢

  13. Can you please do a litter training video i did exactly what the old one says and i have been for 2 months now and could use some extra advice

  14. Scruffing a rabbit is the safest way to grab an untamed rabbit. They may be cute and fluffy the scratches and bites can do real damage to the handler, however the rabbits body weight should be supported asap

  15. The lack of paw pads is the very reason rabbits can tolerate wire flooring, rather than walking on flesh they walk on very think fur that protects there feet. The wire needs to be the right type though, large 14-16 gage 1 by 1/2 inch. Hardware cloth seems kinda bc the gaps are smaller but in actuality the small gage is sharper and can scuff off the thick layer of fur once that happens then you get sore hocks. Some rabbits are also genetically predisposition to have thinner fur on there feet making them prone to sore hocks no matter how soft their flooring is.
There is no more sanitary way or eco friendly way to keep a caged rabbit than on wire. Just make sure it’s the proper type and that your rabbit came from good breeding.

  16. I once accidentally had a bad nail trim with my Sophie. The quick was involved. She cleaned herself up better than I did! As I tell people, they’re self cleaning like an oven or cat, but without the gross coughed up hairballs. 🙂 Sophie does not like to be picked up, but once she is, she is a little cuddle bun who does not leave my side. Lulu on the other hand goes absolutely crazy when on a lap. Nail trims are a challenge and once in awhile I have had to resort to trancing to get a long overdue one in. I’ve been working to calm him since I adopted him, so 5.5 years now. He loves to come to me for attention and I pet him on his terms. He’ll jump on my back, but brushing and nail trims are a battle. We all learn to be better though. I remember your Lennon video of treating her like a baby. It seems like you’ve stepped away from that type of video too which is awesome. The best we can do is be friendly to fellow rabbit owners. There are groups that are not cough HRS Facebook. Absolutely none of us are perfect, but we all absolutely love our bunnies. We’ll all be the best bunny moms and dads we can be with proper guidance. 🥰

  17. bunnies need a lot of care ! i got my bunny and i knew nothing about them but i learned and did my research and now he is 1 year old and he is living in a free roam environment 🙂 ❤

  18. I love your insights on helpful knowledge to a healthy and happy Bunny. You truly are a gift of brains 🙂. What other things to not do iny personal opinion because I have one as well is Don't make your bunny sniff everything you do and one other thing keep them away from the dirt that appears as sand throughout grass fields because there's a bunch of unnecessary things crawling plus to top it off no objects that are not bunny chewy safe. No joke. It can end up a hazard when you least expect it. I'm a big bunny 🐇 fan of you! And will keep on watching your videos. Love from South Florida 🌴

  19. I'm gonna get hated but I SWEAR I love bothering my Peach when she gets her food. I nudge her butt and she scoffs at me like: "FU__ OFF!" which is just adorable cause angry bunnies are just that. I don't do it much, I swear but I totally love it. XD She will do the same sound if I'm too slow with the food as well. XD
It actually originates from the violent behaviour she had when I got her from the rescue. She wasn't spayed, she was very territorial and she was a very agressive little lion headed 4yo lady and bit everyone who tried to give her food. During the few first months she underwent some incredible changes and finally calmed down after being spayed, freeroamed and not being punished physically.
So her ONLY scoffing at me while I give her food and nudge her is SUCH a proof of love BECAUSE she only scofffs at me and doesn't bite myy hand off! XD XD XD

  20. I’ve seen other bunny channels and they are ok your channel is the best I’ve learned so much from you and you know bunny’s best keep making content

  21. I would like to say something Abt #1, while there are some stereotypes of "scruffing your bunny" the main reason it's bad is bc most ppl use the power inappropriately. A rabbit who is more than 3-4lbs shouldn't be scruffed at all period but a rabbit of the appropriate weight will experience no pain while doing so. yes it is uncomfortable just the same as it is uncomfortable to muzzle a dog but it is not painful to a rabbit of the appropriate weight. Alot of people like to argue with this that they don't have scruffs like canines which is true but a canines scruff is just extra skin, the same thing a rabbit has just more. Also if you have a larger rabbit who is bitey or needs a swift move from one spot to another, scruffing and then placing a hand under the bum holds them upright so they cannot nip while also ensuring thier weight is in your hand and not on their neck. The main stereotypes of scruffing came after it was merged with the idea of picking up by the ears. While you should NEVER pick you're bunny up by the ears "scruffing" is okay as long as it is used appropriately

  22. Like many other people thank you for your awesome helpful videos, here I am again. Thank you Lorelei, you help me see more and more little things every day that hopefully will make my future Bunny's life as good as it can be.

  23. I took over 2 rabbits from a friend at the beginning of the year, were always used to being in a cage, but potty trained. With me they always roam free and don't even have a cage. But they eat all my couch and always have wet poop under the couch on my laminate completely smeared, it gets a bit tired of cleaning under the couch every day😐

But putting them back in a cage and only letting them out at night is sad too. Helppp

  24. my dad used to pick up my bunny by the scruff all the time and i had to show him a bunch of studies to make him stop 🙁

  25. I remember reading in bunny books that they can be picked up by the scruff, terrible advice! I'd add not to be aggressive when disciplining a bunny, a stern "no" is enough, never shout or physically discipline.

  26. My rabbit hates being picked up very much but we have our cuddle time when he jumps on my bed. We would lay together and have some cuddling time😂

  27. I kind of "lock up" my rabbit she's got a hallway that's her room. So when she can't be supervised she's in that space for her own safety since i got dogs and she likes being a bit of a criminal by pushing things over and not leaving places so she just pees there. But majority of the time she's freely roaming the house just not at night when I'm sleeping but she doesn't seem to mind. When it's close to bed time she jumps into her cage and is ready to be closed up in her room

Also there's one time I've bathed a rabbit when she got diarrhea and it was stuck in her fur i washed the area and during the summer i sometimes dip her paws in water to help cool down just so she doesn't overheat

  28. "don't force your rabbit to cuddle" Bro, I have the opposite problem. My rabbit is always begging me to rub her head and cheeks whenever it's time to go to bed. If she sees my hand, she'll force her little head under it and I'm just like, "I can't pet you all day, I'm tired"
