Hi Guys! Happy Easter! I created this tutorial because I decided to reconstruct some bunny glasses that my daughter destroyed. I bought these glasses a couple of easters ago in the dollar section at Tar-jay and my daughter ripped off the ears while in the car and then proceeded to cry the entire way home because… she ripped off the ears. Ugh, toddlers. Anyway these glasses were incredibly cute so I decided to “fix” them as best I could. They were initially made of foam, so that was not salvageable and I had to recreate them. As you can see from the video, my toddler is happy with the final results! 🙂
I’m providing you guys with a pattern to use as a template.

You will need to buy some round Harry Potter style glasses as a base. Alternatively, you can modify the pattern to fit your glasses or make your own using this basic shape.
Supplies:
White felt
Scissors
Black Embroidery Floss
Sewing Needle
Cardstock (I used a manila folder)
Glue (I used a glue gun)
Novelty glasses
pink felting wool (about 1 gram)
felting needle
felting mat
I used needle felt to add the ears because hello, I’m Kawaii Felting! But you can also cut out pink felt and glue on the ears instead of needle felting.
