In this cute rabbit video, learn how to paint a rabbit! Pipkin is a free roam rabbit / free range rabbit who loves being painted! Pipkin enjoys being lazy sometimes, and this activity combines three of the rabbit’s favorite things – sticking his head in something, resting his chin on something, and being brushed. When you combine all three things, it’s the height of luxury. Being painted relaxes him so much, he purrs with happiness.
The rabbit loves tunneling – where he sticks his head inside things, whether it be a paper bag or a food container. He also loves resting against things – often times a chair, or a couch, or a human. And, of course, the rabbit loves being pet, particularly with a fine brush. Don’t worry about him while being painted, he loves this activity. Maybe you’ve never seen a rabbit be painted like this before, but he finds it very relaxing. The hole for his head his almost twice the size of his neck (once he sticks his head in his fur poops out, and you can’t see the full hole size from this perspective). He can leave at any time and, if we take him out, he tries to stick his head right back in again. Maybe that’s an idea for the next rabbit video! Silly rabbit!

We labeled it “ASMR” in case some viewers would enjoy the eating sounds and chattering sounds he makes – we certainly think his chewing and slurping could be considered relaxing. What is ASMR? ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response and is used to describe an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. In short, it’ that feeling of getting “the chills.” Maybe his squishy and crunchy eating will trigger you to feel it, who knows? Or maybe he will just put you right to sleep.
