Welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today’s tutorial I will show you how to crochet this fast and easy crochet baby bunny hat for a baby up to 18 months using the extended single crochet stitch to make the beanie hat. Forgot to mention that the hindhead part measures 5.5in or 14.5cm in diameter.
For this 3-6 month baby beanie hat with ears I used medium #4 yarn with a 5mm Crochet hook. You can easily make this baby hat a little bit larger by using different crochet hooks. Following are a approximate sizes but not exact when using different crochet hooks.
1-3 months use 4.5mm
3-6 months use 5mm (this is the one I did)
6-9 months use 5.5mm
9-12 months use 6mm
12-18+ months use 6.5mm
