Exactly 30 days after breeding out New Zealand Blue Doe to our New Zealand Blue Buck we had babies. Until just before she was about to deliver we weren’t sure she was even expecting. What tipped us off was that she a clump of fur in her mouth about 30 minutes before she gave birth. I already had the nesting box in her hutch with her JUST IN CASE.
The babies are adorable. It was very chilly last night. They quickly crawled away into the warmest spot and buried themselves below the fur Momma bunny pulled from her belly to make a bed for them.
