Wood and acrylic is a lovely combination. I’m going to draw series of animals in a stylized way and here is my first creation – the bunny. You can use it as a coaster and it also looks good on the wall or on a shelf as a design element. Don’t forget to prep the wood surface with gesso first. It will prime the wood and acrylic colors will be mush more vivid when applied. Mix colors well until you get the shade of your choice and keep adding details to create more depths and dimension to it. I also had fun with color pencils as they create stunning texture as an added value. Finish this project with a varnish so that it is sealed and protected from water. Just try it, share and enjoy!
