Best Easter Day Ever 1101
HAPPY EASTER!! This morning we get up extra early so that we can wake up the kiddos and get them ready to go downstairs and see if the Easter Bunny came to our house. We get Niko Bear first, he’s so cute sleeping, but i gotta get him up. I then go to get Adley and, surprise, she’s already awake and dressed and ready to go.
We got downstairs and everyone is way excited to see that the Easter bunny came and brought presents. Adley got a new baby carriage for all her dolls and Niko Bear got a tricycle and a baby doll of his own. The kiddo’s are so excited playing this, the almost forget to look for eggs. We do our Easter egg hunt inside the house, it’s more like hide n seek that way. The kiddos are so good at this, finding egg i walk by. They get candy and chocolates and some bubble makers that they both can’t wait to play with. We head into the backyard where we can play bubbles without making a mess inside. We play with bubbles on the grass, on the trampoline and in the skate park.
After so much excitement, it’s quite time, so Adley and i head down to the basement to make a castle pillow fort while Niko and Jenny take naps. When they wake up, we give them a tour of our new fort. Queen Adley has made it a rule that no babies can come to the castle. So we have to sneak Niko downstairs. After a few disguises that don’t work, we get him in a basket and he becomes king of the fort! While exploring, we then find a hidden treasure chest full of some of my fondest memories. Real talk, It’s really cool to look at all this stuff with my kids!
