Litter box training a rabbit should be fairly easy if you follow these steps:
-Find a good sized litter box (I prefer cat litter pans)
-You want something with 7inch sides or so and big enough to move around in
-Pick an absorbent bedding (no newspaper)
-Pick a small pet safe bedding, no cat gravel, corn cob or cedar shavings
-Pick a corner for the litter box where the bunny is going to the bathroom the most
-Put hay in the litter box and hay above the litter box to encourage them to eat in there
-Pick up any poops and soak up any pee outside the litter box and put that into the litter box
-Use positive reinforcement when they use the litter box, whether it be praise, treats or petting, this is crucial so that they know it is okay to pee/poo in there
-Adjust location, bedding depth or bedding itself if you are still having troubles after a few weeks of training, some rabbits are picky
-Once you find out what works, NEVER change, your rabbit may get confused and you’ll have to start all over again
