A tiny pet bunny rabbit named Pipkin is sleeping and dreaming. When the indoor rabbit is very sleepy and comfortable the rabbit will dream, and think he is eating and drinking in his dream. The rabbit dreams of eating his favorite food probably, a banana. Pipkin rabbit is a free roam rabbit who is litter trained, so he does his best to use his litter box when he is awake. Sometimes when the rabbit sleeping, the rabbit dreams he is on his litter box, so he goes to the bathroom. Obviously that’s not his fault. When the indoor rabbit sleeps, the rabbit dreams. Beyond making a poop when rabbit sleeping, he also eats, digs, and runs in his dreams.
Maybe you saw waking a sleeping rabbit by surrounding him with dill, or waking a sleeping rabbit by surrounding him with apples. Or maybe you saw our rabbit video rabbit learns he is adopted. This is the same pet bunny rabbit!
Do rabbits sleep with their eyes open? Yes, sometimes rabbits do! 🙂 When Pipkin really starts rabbit dreaming, like REM sleep, the rabbit tilts his head back all of the way. The indoor rabbit will then start to run. Then the indoor bunny starts to chew, or to eat something – almost like the rabbit ran over to a delicious fruit or vegetables and starting eating. Other times, the domestic rabbit dreams he is on his litter box. Can rabbits use a litter box? Can rabbits be trained to use a litter box? Oh, yes! They are very smart animals! This rabbit uses his litter box most of the time, but sometimes he has an accident, which is totally understandable if the rabbit is sleeping and dreaming!

When the rabbit is sleeping and dreaming, you can hear the rabbit smacking his lips and licking his lips. Watching him and listening to the rabbit sleep can be very calming. The sounds the cute rabbit makes can be relaxing, too.
The indoor rabbit sleeps out in the open usually. But when the bunny gets tired he will often prefer to be held, so he can sleep on a human. When the rabbit sleeping on human, he has rabbit dreams. Oftentimes he falls into the REM sleep, where he dreams and moves about. He is a free range rabbit, or free roam rabbit, and he has free range of the house and the domestic rabbit likes to sleep out in the open.
We labeled it “ASMR” in case some viewers would enjoy the eating sounds he makes when sleeping, then when the rabbit is awake eating the orange. We certainly think his rabbit sounds and rabbit noises could be considered relaxing. What is ASMR? ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response and is used to describe an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. In short, it’ that feeling of getting “the chills.” Maybe his squishy and crunchy eating will trigger you to feel it, who knows? Or, maybe you just wonder what a bunny eating looks like 🙂
