Rabbit eating kohlrabi ASMR

Here’s a tiny pet bunny rabbit eating a kohlrabi. The rabbit loves eating fresh fruits and vegetables, and we thought he would enjoy some delicious kohlrabi!

Kohlrabi is also known as German tulip or turnip cabbage. It’s derived from wild cabbage, and is the same species as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, collard greens, savoy and gai lan. For humans, it can be eaten raw or cooked, and preparations are usually made with both the stem and the leaves. For Mighty Beasts, it is obviously eaten raw. Some rabbit researchers speculate the kohlrabi is where rabbits get their power and might.

Pipkin reports that the kohlrabi’s taste and texture is similar to those of a broccoli stem or cabbage heart, but milder and sweeter, with a higher ratio of flesh to skin. The young stem in particular can be as crisp and juicy as an apple, although much less sweet.

Don’t get mad we took the kohlrabi away from the wee bun – he knew before he started that he would not be allowed to eat more than a a few leaves of it. We reminded him of this right before we started recording the video. We hoped he would move to the bulb piece of the kohlrabi, but he never made it before he ran out of time! 😀

Thanks for checking out Pipkin and our rabbit channel. We hope you think this is the cutest rabbit video ever, because he really enjoyed making it! If you’d like to see more cute rabbit videos, please watch some of our other work!
