I just need some links and general recommendations for a better litterbox. Chowder is getting a bit big for his and my main issue is
A) he sleeps in it
B) I have to clean it every day because the poo piles on top and pee sinks to the bottom and I’m weird about the smell of urine
C) it’s kinda expensive to buy wood shavings this much lmao
Would one with the grates work? Would he have a litterbox regression with a different box? I don’t want him peeing everywhere preferably. If I got one with grating on top would that smell weird? Would I be able to keep a pee pad secure without him getting to it? Thanks 🙂
Edit because I know someone is gonna mention the hutch: he free roams an entire room to himself, he’s never locked in there, that’s just where I keep his litterbox and hay
