RHDV-2 has been detected in 26 California counties and is considered endemic. Recent cases continue to be reported throughout Southern California. Vaccination is the most effective protection, and we wanted to make it accessible + affordable.
We're hosting a low-cost vaccine clinic on Saturday, June 20 (+ July 11) at our Long Beach location.
The Details:
Cost: $75 per rabbit (includes wellness exam + first dose)
Time: 10 AM – 4 PM
Location: 4103 N. Viking Way, Ste. D, Long Beach, CA
Vets: Dr. Nessie Gann, DVM + Dr. Nikita Lakhani, DVM
What's included:
Comprehensive wellness exam
RHDV-2 first dose (or booster if previously vaccinated)
Complimentary pain relief medication (Meloxicam)
Post-vaccination monitoring (15 minutes)
Important: The Medgene vaccine requires two doses, 3 weeks apart. If this is your rabbit's first vaccination, you'll need to commit to both appointments (July 11) to avoid paying another wellness exam fee at another clinic.
