Hello friends!! I am currently a bun mom of one and finally have enough room to get my rabbit a husbund to bond with. I’m a little worried about the transition to having two bunnies. My girl can be a lot of work because she has stasis flair ups and I’m a little worried about having to care for two sick buns at a time. She’s going to get her teeth trimmed because they’re sharp and the vet is hoping that will help. I brought up the idea of getting her a friend in the hopes it will help with her stress. When I got her I wasn’t told that rabbits should be kept in pairs so I wasn’t ever planning on having two but obviously I want to do what’s best for her. I’m just wondering if anyone had any advice about how to make the transition from being a single bunny household to having more than one? What was the bonding process like and how long did it take? Any insight will be appreciated 🙂
