Last night, in order to do some work, I’ve moved a barrier that kept my rabbit away from my edible cactus plants. She has no access to poisonous plants, but the edible guys are behind the barrier next to a table where she likes to sit, and look out window at the streets – like a house cat. She took a bite out of one of the Lophophora Williamsii, commonly known as Peyote – which has hallucinogenic properties. I did not discover this until this morning.
She seems fine now, she was just very anti-social last night – went to bed early, seems to extra enjoy the Hawaiian music I was playing… if that makes any sense. We have an appointment with a vet in a few days coincidentally, so I’ll get a chance to address this then.
