I posted two days ago asking for advice for an old arthritic bun. After a rapid decline in condition, I made the appointment yesterday. I am laying with him now. Taking him to the vet in 30 minutes. Impossible to believe that after 8 years with him and 10 years of life, and after my endless searches for the fountain of youth, I have to say goodbye. He’s had chronic URIs, ear infections, and an EC diagnosis, but I did my best to make his life as hoppy and happy as possible. He certainly left a major impression on mine. I’m not sure I will come back to bunnies, as I know there will never be another like him. But this is my son, my brother, my familiar, my twin flame, my Nugget. Thank you for all of the love and kisses over the years. You are my world.
