UPDATE: I think we can conclude that this poor little guy is most likely urine stained. The yellow spots are all over his body so he must have been living in some nasty conditions. He is happy in his new environment, very curious and outgoing, hopping into our laps and even giving little kisses. We are experienced bun owners/ fosters and are leaning toward keeping him. We will have him seen by a vet soon and work on getting him neutered and litter trained. I will post updates!

This incredibly sweet little guy was found in a friend’s yard. No one claimed him and he is not chipped, so my partner and I are taking him in to foster and have seen by a vet until we can either keep him or get him into a shelter or good home.
He’s pretty dirty (we have no idea how long he was outdoors on his own) and may even possibly have fleas. I plan on carefully spot cleaning him with a washcloth on the dirtiest areas.
My question is, do you all think that the yellow on his head is stained white fur? If it is I know the only thing to do is wait for it to grow out. I’m just curious what he’ll look like in a while when he’s all clean and healthy and loved.
