Post spay question- conflicting advice

My girl was spayed today. It went well and she is eating, drinking, and eliminating well.

Picture is of her at this moment in her recovery enclosure.

I’m a little uncertain about the advice I got about introductions and would like to hear from the hive mind about it.

The vet said that the 6-week rule for introductions applies to males only because they continue to have viable sperm up to 6 weeks post neuter. But introduction of a spayed female to an already neutered male can start as soon as her incision is healed, in around 2 weeks?

I have not found any corroborating evidence to support this and wonder if that’s an opinion or fact?

Literally everything I’m reading indicates 4-6 weeks on both sides to ensure full recovery and to let hormones subside.

I should note, this is not my regular vet. This is the vet the humane society uses.

My bunnies have met and got along when Noelle first came home, but she’s been living in the bathroom for 2 months. They are familiar with each other’s scents, as I swap toys and blankets often.

I was planning on continuing that for the next ~4-6 weeks and then starting proper bonding.
