How can you lock me in this yard and then try to ask for forgiveness by giving me food?

When my mother is home, she always asks me to put Ramona in the yard while she's in the kitchen, since both she and my father have made her believe that kitchen = food (but they swear they weren't the ones who taught her that lol)
