Hey everyone, due to unforeseen circumstances I’m not going to be able to see my Maggie for about 3 months and I’m terrified that she’s going to forget about me. I got her when she was 9 weeks old and she’s going to be 4 in the summer. We have been together every day since I got her and she would always come up and lay on my chest and groom my face, arms, and hands multiple times a day and she laid by my feet every night, she’s definitely really bonded with me and I had to leave her so suddenly. I miss her so much but I’m so scared that she’ll forget about me or become unbonded with me after all that time. Has anyone else had to leave their bunnies for a long period of time and how did they react when you finally saw them again? I should also mention that when I do finally see her again we’ll be in a new apartment so she won’t see me in the house that she’s so used to, it’ll be in a new environment 🙃
