Hi everyone! This is my first post here, so I’m still learning the ropes.
My bunny 🐰 is now over 6 months old, and I’ve been trying to gradually switch him from alfalfa to Timothy hay (botanical). We tried for about 2 weeks, but he has almost stopped eating hay now for 2 months!
I’ve tried Oxbow Botanical, Timothy/Orchard mix, and plain Orchard. I’ve also tried:
Offering it in a foraging box (with and without treats).
Mixing it with oregano, pellets, pellet dust, or fresh greens.
Placing it both inside/above the litter box and in other spots.
Nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any tricks for a picky eater?
