I’ve heard that some take their bunny on vacations with them. I’m planning a trip soon and it’s a 9 hour drive. (Could break that up for one night in a hotel if necessary.). Do any of you take your bun on trips that far? I’m not too worried about her acclimating to a different home for a week: one day in the x pen, then allowed to free roam, which she manages well when family watches her. (No accidents or marking territory – she understands the assignment. ☺️) But we may all be going together so I may not have a sitter and don’t want to board her.)
If so, how do you manage the drive to make sure she’s eating hay, drinking water, and comfortable for that long?
