I was sitting on the floor spending time with my two timid bunnies (they recently backtracked with their trust of me because I had to *torture* them aka cut their nails last week). I’ve done this many times before with them, and they normally love it. I’ve (sort of) trained them to stand up on their back feet to get a treat, and they oftentimes automatically do it now when I get the treats out. Today, one of them (the gray one) decided to approach me, put his front feet up on my leg, take a treat from me, and then take two hops away while flicking his back feet. What did I do wrong 😭.
My theory is my puny human existence is an inconvenience to their plot to take over the world. They would 100% sacrifice me to the Banana god for a single banana, but I love everything about them, and will attempt to appease their takeover needs with banana bribes.
