Hello everyone! I have the best most wonderful news. Today we took a 4 1/2 hr drive to pick up this lil guy. 10 weeks old, and a cute grey. We were very worried about the long drive home, how stressed he would be.
He was great. Which kind of made us sad honestly. About a week and a half ago we brought home a different little dude. He was severely malnourished you could see his ribs and, he only looked 5 weeks sadly. He had a lil bloated belly but we were assured he just ate a ton. On the drive home he didn’t want to eat, drink or poop. Nothing. You guys can guess what happened when we got him home…
This guy was a real trooper. We took I think 5 stops for at least 20 minutes each to relax him, then he was able to eat a tiny bit each time and drink lots. When the car started to move again he was in a little ball waiting for his next break. He was amazing. The trip on the way back with him took much longer, he wasn’t able to poop at all for the over 7 hours. We kept checking but didn’t find anything, that was worrying us…
When we got home he went straight to his new home to chill out. Was able to poop within 2 minutes. We left him alone for about 50 minutes to really relax, there were tons of poops. Thank gawd! Ate lots of pellets as well. 🙏 Now he’s running around the living room and exploring and doing cute excited jumps. Loves to cuddle and be pet. Love it. Love him.
