Hi everyone!
I have a male rabbit, under 1 year old, and I’ve been noticing something weird lately.
Every so often I find these small, round, seed-like pieces near his poop. They look similar in shape to his normal droppings but are lighter brown/orange and rock hard. They don’t crumble at all…way harder than normal poop.
The thing is, his actual poop looks completely normal otherwise (round, consistent, healthy). No changes in appetite or behavior either.
Diet:
• Unlimited hay
• Greens twice a day
• Small amount of pellets
• treats + forage
Has anyone seen this before? Could it be something from his food (like seeds in forage/pellets), or something digestive-related? I’m pretty sure it’s not normal poop because of how hard it is.
Would appreciate any insight 🙏
