this is Burger. She showed signs of going into G.I. stasis the other day when I got home and had noticed she did not eat the breakfast I gave her before I left to work. She spent six hours at the emergency vet and it turns out it is chronic liver torsion. They said it was not bleeding or leaking fluid and sent me home with 10 days of pain management medication to see if she will pull through because unfortunately surgery is not an option. I thought I would share some photos of burger, the second photo is when she was a baby. She’s 8 in November. She is a really sweet bunny and I’m sorry to anybody that goes through this. Here’s to hoping she will make it the 10 days and much longer, and not in pain.
