Apologies for the glitchiness. Took Tihbias to the vet this past Thursday because he seemed off, had a very slight head tilt, a bit lethargic not really eating or drinking. One of his ears fell down a few days beforehand. They did a fecal exam and said he has tapeworms. I don't see a lot of information about this online, but she says it's fairly common from eggs being laid in hay. He has another appointment this Thursday to follow up and do his bi- annual checkup.
I've been giving him two medications to deworm and for gut mobility as prescribed. But now it's Saturday night and he turns around in one circle every minute or so, either direction. I'm really suspecting it's e cunnuli but the vet just wanted to focus on the parasites and then for his follow-up if things get worse test for the e cunnuli. during this past visit she checked his ears and felt around his face and said everything looked/ felt normal.
I just feel so bad. I don't understand what could have caused all of this at once. Should I take him to the vet sooner? Can tapeworms cause circling as well?
