Recently he got this brown colouring and I was wondering wether I should worry or not. It feels soft like his regular hair.

Likely just a change in tone as he ages. My black and white boy had a little tan on the back of his neck that faded almost away. He also went grey which was so adorable.
You can check the skin under the fur for any redness or irritation, sometimes fur changes colour if there’s a skin issue.
Also with weather changes the sun could have lightened his fur a little.
How long have you had him? It is about the time of year for a spring molt to be starting, I wonder if this is just the early stages
Bean my agouti type rabbit definitely changes coats with the season. She’s mainly black with some brown overlay but sometimes she’s extra sprinkled with brown or almost solid black.
My bun has the same. When we got him, he had the same colouring as your bun. After a year, brown spots appeared. It changes with the seasons. Every molting season it is a suprise to see what stays gray and what will become brown haha
