Hi everyone! ☺️ This is my boy Bam 💥 I have been silently following this group for awhile & i just adopted this cutie from my local rescue yesterday, they had him marked as a Netherland Dwarf. Although after further research, I realize he’s likely not a Netherland dwarf (at least fully) because his ears are so much bigger, the pics seriously don’t do them justice lol and he also seems to be a little bit larger in stature. He has an adorable little face with such pretty eyelashes, his feet are all white and underbelly is white.
Some background – He is approximately one year old and he is 3.09 pounds, purchased by his original owner from an exotic pet shop when he was a baby.
So just from his size alone I’m assuming he might be some kind of netherland mix (though I’m not sure because even the mixes i have seen have smaller ears) or maybe he’s a full breed of another rabbit like a Polish rabbit or something of that sort as i’m not sure if he is 100% done growing or if they continue to mature a bit more past 12 months? Any insight is helpful, I will be taking him for his first vet appointment in a week or two and I wanna make sure I have all the accurate information for my boy ❤️
Edit: Possibly a Chinchilla mix?
