We have a 5 month old Netherland dwarf. He was fixed Monday. We brought home a 8 week old female dwarf lionhead yesterday. As we were trying to introduce him he immediately started to try to mate with her. We did not allow this. Can I get advice. I know she can not get pregnant til at least 10 week of age. And I red he can still make babies for a few week. We do NOT want little babies. We have them separated. This am I let him close to her again but I held him off her. He immediate tried again.
Ive read this is dominance. And normal. Can we confirm this? Shall I allow it while she cant get pregnant? Please give us advice. Images are included.
