In need of a little advice please …

Hey guys.

Just over a year ago, Thor was given a “palliative” diagnosis because his teeth grow at a rate that meant he would need to be in surgery every week. He would have teeth surgery then a week later be right back to where he was before the surgery.

Somehow he managed to go a full year without surgery. In January this year we noticed his teeth were bothering him again and took him in for surgery. We’d also noticed that he started to urinate outside of his litter tray which, is completely out of character. The vets decided to do an ultrasound of his bladder to see if there was anything sinister going on and there was nothing.

My vet has determined that he probably has osteoarthritis and he’s now on Loxicam, Paracetamol and Gabapentin twice a day. He does most of his toileting outside of the litter tray now and as a result his feet are getting really sore.

Has anyone go any advice as to a type of bunny safe puppy pad, how to help his feet or even how to make him more comfortable than he already is. We changed his litter tray to a tray that is so low to the ground he can literally step into it. TYIA

TLDR: my bunny is urinating outside of his litter box, possibly has osteoarthritis and I’m looking for advice on anything I can do to help him feel more comfortable.

Ps pics are my most favourite pic of Thor and my most recent.
