My rabbit is 8-9years old and was diagnosed with lung tumors on the 27th of February. she is now in hospice care and I was told at the time she seems to not be in pain but presumably will only have a few weeks left. It feels like I’m watching a timer and I hate it.
As of now she still eats, wants affection, grooms, drinks, gets excited for treats, and chews on everything. Because the disease is in her lungs she sneezes and gags a lot which the vet said there’s nothing they can do. I keep her area clean and free of dust as best as I can, I have an air purifier running 24/7 as well.
My concern is how do I know when it’s time?
