(my rabbits do not live in a cage, I have it as an attachment to their much bigger pen)
I have two rabbits that were bonded very young, only a few months apart. They've only scuffled once at the very beginning and now they're absolutely inseparable with Thing 2 (seal point, male) always glued to Thing 1's (tort, female) hip. Wherever she goes, he goes, and they're always grooming each other. I often joke that their love is deeper than anything, that they're soulmates, etc.
This is all pretty normal to me, but I read a few experiences on failed bonding and rabbits that don't like each other and realized I don't know how close other people's rabbits are. I haven't seen other rabbit relationships.
How affectionate is the average bonded pair? What are your bonded pairs like? Is how affectionate my rabbits are with each other just a normal amount and every bonded pair is like this?
