I’ve unintentionally ended up with 3 solo bunnies. Regardless of how things go I will keep all three.
I have been slowly trying to bond them as a trio over the past year with some hiccups like when Olivia (9 years old, spots) got a tumor and had to heal from the removal. I also work 55 hours a week so I have only been doing weekly dates.
Initially Stormi (4 y/o, all white) showed more interest in Charlotte (7 y/o, gray). And Charlotte has always been disinterested but non aggressive to him. Olivia had been difficult to bond after she lost her partner 5 years ago.
Our dates have now been up to 60 minutes and their pens and are all next to each other.
For the past month, I put their pens next to each other. This has been a tight fit for me since they take up my entire living room. Olivia did escape at the beginning and there was a small tussle between Stormi and Olivia. Since then. Stormi and Olivia are always laying next to each other and Charlotte is no where near them. This is even showing up in their dates.
Should I go ahead and try to bond Stormi and Olivia and pen them together. Or continue to try for the trio since there hasn’t been any aggression. Just a lot of humping from Stormi.
