Recently my vet has prescribed my senior 7+ bun Barry, Meloxicam. It's going great and he's at an energy level and cheekyness I haven't seen in a long while. At that point I was assuming it was normal senior is slowing down. He is doing great now, anyway he acts like I have candy every time I pull out the Meloxicam and I was wondering if that's normal? Did the universe give me a pet I don't have to fight to medicate as necessary? But yeah I was wondering if it's a taste thing and he just happened to like or did he notice he feels better after taking it. I know it's not the drinking from the syringe because I tried some water in it after I gave his dose for the day, he took a sip then gave me the why would you do this look.
