I nearly forgot to do this oops, after Sersha got diagnosed with stasis early, they where laughing cos again I caught it in the hour it started and they always love the fact I take one look and instantly know it’s stasis, but what I didn’t know was what was causing it the vet said she had spurs on her back teeth that was cutting into her tongue
Not going to lie this scared me, usually I’m like yup let’s do this YEHHHHHHH (now I’ve had a previous bunny that had that but he didn’t go into stasis he was rapidly losing weight and even though we fed him mashed up pellets every hour it wasn’t enough and he passed away on the operating table, they usually wait till the rabbits put on weight but he was either gonna pass from weight loss or from the op so I had no choice to try to save him) so after she recovered from stasis she was all happy and bouncing and loving me she even gave me a binky it was super cute
The next day we got her in for her op because with that spur cutting into her tongue there was a risk she could go back into stasis, the vet nurse said she was concerned cos she spat out most of the critical care they gave, which made a mess of her and I said no it’s okay she hates critical care I’ll mash up some pellets when I’m home and give her them, got home did that she hates critical care it all but because she was still out of it she drunk lil lady waddled to her castle and laid in it and stared at the floor, nose was touching carpet, she didn’t resist her feedings and meds after it she got over the drugs.
3 days later she had had enough not of me, my partner, she’s usually in love with him, he could do no wrong but NOPE he was divorced, she started digging protest at his chest while screaming chirping (she chirp talks to us, the angrier she is the louder and faster she chirps) when that failed she bit him, on the nipple through his top, after that she kept going for the nipple until she was better, he’s now disliked by her, when I first got her she would only bite and attack me, to the point I nicknamed her a carpet shark, this time it’s my partners turn, every time he goes in to her pen to clean the rabbits out for me because I’ve been too ill to do it myself she attacks him, the other day she did it because he took her toys out the water bowl (she has to throw toys in it we dunno why) as for me I’ve been getting love, happy binkies, happy chirps, happy honks etc but my partner is no longer her fav lol, vets said that she’s fine after her check up and she’s been munching on her hay and pellets like I’ve never fed her ever.
Ignore the poops in the pic I hoovered up while she was in the vets and she was temp pooping outside her tray but I was just happy she was showing she wasn’t in stasis
