Hi all, I’m new to having bunnies so any and all advice is appreciated. These are my three lovely floofs, two angoras who are sisters (about five months old) and a holland lop, also a girl (about four months old). I’ve had them for about two months. They’re outside bunnies and they all live together. I got the angoras a few weeks before the holland lop but I believe they’re all bonded together now because they sleep together, eat together, and groom eachother. They have the whole fence area in the pictures above during the day and then I put them in the hutch at night for warmth. Anyway, I’m mainly wondering when they’ll start to love me or see me as part of their group. Right now they just tolerate me. One of them hates to be picked up, which I know some bunnies don’t like that and I don’t want to force that, but she doesn’t like to be pet either. Is that also normal? They’ll let me hand feed them when they’re in the hutch but when they’re outside they will have nothing to do with me.
Also, I’m kind of worried they’re bored. I have some things set up in their fences that they can hide behind or crawl under and they have a few toys, but I’ve never seen them play with the toys. They do love the crawl spaces but I’m not sure if it’s enough. I love my little girls and want them to be as happy as they can be, but if possible I’d also like some reciprocation 😂
