Hello from Tijuana, I found this rabbit out in the street. It shows no signs of injury despite the amount of stray cats and dogs that roam our neighborhood. I have it in good reason this is someone's pet that ran away or was abandoned.
I improvised a place for it while I find its owner or decide to keep it.
I went to our local feed store and got some pellets, saw dust and mixed green leafs.
I've had it for 3 days and it knocked its water bowl and food bowl several times. I just ordered some cage mountable food and water dispensers, as well as a hay rack.
It peed all over the cushion in the corner, so I'll be working on getting it potty trained, with the help of the hay rack and a litter box.
It's been really social, and seems content, but I feel I can do more for it!
What do you suggest I should get for it?
Also, I just replaced the saw dust and it was a messy clean up, any idea for substitutions?
This is my first time caring for a rabbit, I'll be happy to take criticism, but please be nice about it, it didn't really come with a manual.
Thank you in advance!
