Hi! One of my rabbits has bad sore hocks and our vet said we need to get socks for him. We got them yesterday and put them on in the evening, monitored for an hour and everything seemed fine (even tho he was grumpy and trying to kick them off.)
This morning when we checked he had managed to rip off both socks and destroyed the velcro (small pieces of velcro found all over the floor 😭) We considered getting socks with buttons but he loooves chewing off buttons from things, so we’re doubtful that would work either.
What do we do?? Does anyone have any advice of how to keep hock socks on? Any brands/styles of socks that work well for extremely stubborn rabbits?
