So I just adopted an intact male from a coworker that is abruptly moving across the country. It was very spontaneous as they have to move by the end of the week, I know this is very bad on my part but I couldn’t resist a free bun. However, I already have a spayed female (been spayed for 6+ months) and I know I can’t put them together right now but I was wondering what is the best setup for them? Should I keep them completely separated or can they be next to each other in separate pens? I really want them to bond since my female desperately needs a bunsband. Also, should I wait a while to get him fixed since he’s still settling or is it best to do it asap?
