Long story short, this little lady was found by a friend of mine by the side of the road outside her house. She can’t have been more than 4 or 5 weeks old, was soaking wet through with rain and her eye was swollen shut.
We think her neighbours (they have rabbits and other pets, and are known for being generally not nice people and not great pet owners) dumped her as she wasn’t in great shape.
I took her in and wasn’t expecting her to make it through the night, but she was awake the next morning, got her to the vets and got her eye treated, fed her up and got her vaccinations. I was going to take her to live at my workplace (I work in a zoo) but I’m super attached to her now so she is an official family member ❤️
We are best buddies. Her indoor run is in my yoga room, and she climbs all over me when I’m practising, generally getting in the way and demanding head rubs. She is a speed demon and binky queen, and if you tickle the back of her ears she melts into a puddle of goo. She’s a warrior and a little ⭐️
