Preface: my wife and I have 8 rescue rabbits in a variety of breeds already. My neighbors are irresponsible and have domesticated rabbits roaming all over their property and onto ours. I called the Sheriff and the neighbors denied ownership of the rabbits so here we are. One white albino rabbit has had multiple litters of kits on the property. Last month we found six kits that were days old in our pool cover. We took them all to WSU in Pullman, WA but unfortunately they didn’t survive due to a bacterial infection. I am not sure how old this one is that was found alone in the junipers on Saturday by my landscaper, but its gained weight see we got to be 195 grams. It had its eyes crusted shut. We cleared its eyes with a warm wash cloth to get it seeing. The first two days it’s been fine with healthy pellet poops, drinking water and eating alfalfa. This morning it had some wetter poops, not diarrhea, but we are concerned. We have rabbit formula but are a little nervous that didn’t go so well with the younger kits. Any recommendation on keeping this one healthy as it seems to be partially weened but not fully.
