So I took in this Netherlands dwarf rabbit and I have been trying to just lay near her space and let her explore or like smell me and I can’t tell if she’s super anxious or finally getting comfortable. It’s only day 2 and I already noticed she greets me when I come in my room instead of hiding. She was previously neglected by her old owners and I have been looking up bun behaviors and body language but I just can’t tell! I know her nose moving fast is bad, which sometimes it will move fast at first and she will calm down. In the first picture she got really close to me and belly flopped (?) but I couldn’t snap a pic quick enough before she rolled back over. She’s the cutest thing and I just want to help her be more comfortable. My concern was her face in the first picture she looks super scared but in real life she was comfortable enough to flop on her belly but o don’t know if it was out of like a surrender bc she thinks I’m a predator 😭 might be stupid but this page has already helped me so much!
