Hello friends, long time no see. It's been a rough year and our lease is coming up to an end including a price increase to renew, so chances are we'll probably be moving back in with my aunt.
The problem with this is Willow absolutely loves digging, and I've already had to fix aunt's carpet when we originally moved out. I would like to avoid that if possible.
I've already tried laying down rugs, but she pulls them up to get to the carpet itself. I've also considered putting down boards with a rug over that, but that's not very realistic for the entire space.
How are you guys protecting your floors?

C c grids! Depending on where she likes to dig it can minimal. Mine used to be the corners of the room, so I would either strategically place furniture there/things in the way or lay down some c c grids, you can get them on Amazon/temu/shein. Providing a dig box may help too, just a plastic box and some coco coir, it’s messy but it’s good enrichment for them
Large, heavy tiles worked for my bun. They sold individual 12” tiles at Home Depot for cheap. Fleece did NOT work. I think my rabbit enjoyed digging in the fleece. Not in a digbox, just when spread out over the floor. 🙄
