Lydia was welcomed on October 20th, 2025. I was informed she was "3-months old" but her initial vet visit proved she was much older, which made the fact that she was housed with male rabbits before I had her very very concerning.
Her initial vet visit was 11/3. She was a normal weight and we discussed the possibility of pregnancy but she wouldn't sit for an ultrasound. Now 11/13 she gained a ton of weight, all in her belly. The vet was sure she was pregnant just looking at her. She is very round and has been nesting and eating a LOT. She had an ultrasound and an x-ray, no babies! I had no idea rabbit pseudopregnancies were so physically realistic! She is perfectly healthy 🙂
