We adopted these brothers about a month ago. They are both neutered. The white one is typically the more submissive one. Overall they have gotten along great since they came home, they always share food happily and sleep beside eachother.
All the sudden as of yesterday night, they have started this very unsettling behavior. The white one will NOT STOP trying to mount the black one and follows him constantly. They have been making these noises all night long to the point where i’m not even able to sleep because i’m worried about them. They haven’t bitten eachother or got in any serious fights but they make these little noises at eachother and the black one nips at the other when he’s being targeted and humped.
It all started yesterday which is when my fiance came home from being away for a week- not not sure if that could have something to do with it or not.
Please let me know if you have any advice for us and we are new to owning bunnies and want to make sure they are happy and comfortable.
I do have two litter boxes and two spots for hay, but only one 1.5 gallon water. They have plenty of toys along with one castle and the tunnel.
